Slow Cooker Turkey Ingredients
Turkey thigh - 3.5 lb
Dried cherries - 3/4 cup
Olives - 3/4 cup
Ground cumin - 1 tbsp
Leek (thinly sliced) - 1 cup
Port wine - 1 cup
Orange juice (freshly squeezed) - 1/3 cup
Paprike - 1 tsp
Red pepper -1 tsp
Thyme sprigs - 4
Salt - 1.5 tsp
Red pepper (crushed) - 1 tsp
Cooking Instructions
- Skin and de-bone the turkey thigh. Cut into 1 inch chunks
- In a slow cooker, add the leek, port wine, cherries, olives, orange juice, paprika, red pepper, thyme, salt and cumin
- Add the turkey to the slow cooker, and cook on low for 6 hours
