Red Wine Beef Steak Ingredients
Beef tenderloin steak - 2 pieces (about 4oz each)
All purpose flour - 1/2 tsp
Shallots - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Fresh parsley (chopped) - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper - 1/8 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Beef broth - 1/4 cup
Red wine - 1/4 cup
Cooking Instructions
- Combine red wine, beef broth, flour, salt, and black pepper
- Heat oil to medium high and add in the beef steaks
- Cook for 3 minutes each side, then remove from the pan
- Add in shallots and saute for 1 to 2 minutes, and then add in the broth mixture
- Let it reduce to about 1/4 cup, then serve the sauce over the beef steak
- Garnish with the parsley
