Pork Chop Recipe Ingredients
Boneless pork chops - 8 (2oz)
Red bell pepper strips - 2 cups
Chicken broth fat free - 1 cup
Olive oil - 2 tsp
Italian seasoning - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Dried thyme - 1/4 tsp
Dried sage - 1/4 tsp
Cooking Instructions
- Heat oil in skillet on medium high heat
- Sprinkle italian seasoning, salt and black pepper on the pork, and add to the skillet
- Cook 1 minute each side until browned, and remove from pan
- Add red peppers to the pan and saute for 2 minutes
- Add the pork back into the pan and mix in broth, tomato paste, thyme, and sage
- Cover and reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 8 minutes
- Remove pork and let the sauce mixture reduce longer if a thicker mixture is desired
